The Beltway's Go Go Graffiti Scene

Peter Ogburn sits at the table with the curator of "Pump Me Up: D.C. Subculture of the 1980's," Roger Gastman, and BuzzFeed's Washington Bureau Chief, John Stanton reminiscing about the 1980'street art and the mega growth of graffiti art. John asks about the go go graffiti originating in the beltway, and the genesis of the tagging scene. The generation X's amongst us will remember the bubble lettered name stamps around our towns. Roger has also recently produced, " The Legend of 'Cool' Disco Dan," which started out as a documentary about the life of an artist, and then morphed into a story of city.
